A royal high tea was held Thursday at the Dade City Woman's Club in honor of the American Red Cross. Another tea was scheduled for Wednesday at Champions Club in Trinity. The teas were hosted by Red Cross board members Kathryn Starkey and Diane Heiler to benefit the Pasco County branch of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross. Guests heard about Red Cross services and were encouraged to help form a Red Cross auxiliary in the Pasco area. ...more

TRINITY - While a long-delayed fire station is under construction in Trinity, county officials pretty much have closed the book on building a Trinity library branch anytime soon. A library project in the booming area of Trinity looked like it might take off in 2005 with a state grant for more than $430,000.
