The Grand Boulevard-Trouble Creek Road intersection in New Port Richey has been reopened after a fatal motorcycle crash shut it down nearly two hours Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Gary Don Luker, 59, of Wesley Chapel, was riding a 2006 Harley-Davidson south on Grand Boulevard and approached Trouble Creek Road about 8:40 p.m. when a car that was traveling north on the road turned into the path of his motorcycle, troopers say. Luker died at the scene. The driver of the 1988 Nissan, James Patrick Enoch, 19, of New Port Richey, and a passenger was not hurt, the highway patrol said. The crash is under investigation. ...more
