I write this lettering wondering if anyone else found Brian Moore's letter on Dec. 16 a bit disturbing. Under the guise of calling for a third party, Mr. Moore basically blames both Democrats and Republicans for 9/11. It was right there in black and white in the third paragraph where he talks about us going to war every other year, which is always supported by Congress: "And the two major political parties have no one else to blame for the 9/11 attack." ...more

So everyone knows President George Bush's popularity these days is lower than any president in history, according to polls. Even fellow Republicans have little good to say about his presidency. It's clear that the vast majority of Americans believe he made a grievous mistake by going to war in Iraq.
