Capturing reflected light is a technique artists use to enhance their creations and Elaine Hahn is no exception to the rule. Hahn has worked in watercolors for more than 25 years and her paintings have achieved prominence through acceptance and awards in major national juried exhibitions. A collection of her works is on exhibit at the Pasco-Hernando Community College Art Gallery through March 14. The collection includes early and recent watercolors. Artist Tatyana Igumnova Hankinson, as someone who began life on the other side of the planet, has seen a bit of the world and it shows in her work. "I use different mediums and styles to reflect the different places I have traveled," says Hankinson. A resident of South Tampa since 2002, Hankinson is a native of the former Soviet Union. Hankinson will be featured in an exhibit titled "A Russian Artist's Journey's through a Vast Landscape" at the Pasco-Hernando Community College Art Gallery. ...more
