TRINITY - Four-legged furry friends will help turn happy hour into Yappy Hour during a benefit at a Trinity-area restaurant on Sunday, May 17.
Gulfside Regional Hospice and Friends of Animal Services will share the proceeds as hosts for the event 4 - 7 p.m. at the Tijuana Flats restaurant at Duck Slough Boulevard and S.R. 54. There will be food and drink specials, including $1 drafts all night long.
People can bring their dogs on leashes to the event for $10 per dog, according to Ashley Mann, community relations coordinator for Gulfside. All pooches will receive doggie bags at the entrance. Water bowls will be provided.
Dobies Funeral Home is serving as the presenting sponsor of the event. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
