Regarding those Mexican truckers Rich Lowry was worrying about in his March 25 op-ed page column, he should consider this.
Mexico supplies most of the illegal drugs consumed in the U.S. Has Rich given any thought to how they get here and how the Mexican drug dealers' get their guns and ammunition?
Based on Lowry's theory that the Mexicans can self-regulate border-crossers and their cargoes, he must feel safe allowing all truckers to navigate our borders.
Lowry is astute when it comes to filtering through President Barack Obama's rhetoric, yet he believes no harm can come from these Honest John Mexicans.
We need to keep our kids safe by restricting Mexican drug traffic.
