Fisherman's World, 727-942-8944: Redfish have been a good bet on the back side of Anclote Key. Anglers fishing Dutchman's Key have been landing fish in the upper-20-inch class. While there, some have reported taking snook to about 25 inches. Both have been responding well to live shrimp and sardines, though a few were taken on jerk baits. The northwest end of Honeymoon Island has been holding good numbers of trout. Fish from undersized to 20 inches or better have been reported. Live shrimp and Berkley Gulp strips in root beer color have been productive.

Dunedin Bait and Tackle, 727-736-3474: Anglers have been taking a few snook at the northeast corner of the bridge on Dunedin Causeway. Fish to 34 inches have been taken on live bait. Whiting and silver trout have been good at Pet Beach.

Anclote Bait and Tackle, 727-945-1808: Reds to 23 inches have been reported by anglers working the shallows south of the Anclote River. Berkley Gulp Strips have been working well. Some trout are being taken in the grass beds, as well. Fish to 17 inches have been common, taking the same strips on jig heads.

Dunedin Fishing Center, 727-738-5628: Anglers wading along the northern side of the Dunedin Causeway have been taking good numbers of trout to 20 inches. Fish have been around the mid-point, taking live shrimp and small, live pinfish under floats. A few oversized fish have been reported. Most of the fish have been around potholes.

Pier 60, 727-462-6466: Mackerel have been moving by in big numbers, with anglers scoring well on fish 18 to 22 inches. Some to 24 inches have been caught. Live shrimp and sardines have been the top baits, but Gotcha Plugs and Clark's silver spoons have been good, as well. The bite turns off and on as the schools move by. Trout fishing has been good, with fish 15 to 16 inches making up most of the catches, and a few fish near the top of the slot range reported.
