American taxpayers must be gluttons for punishment or Washington must believe they are idiots. A third helping of tax dollars for insurer AIG when it wasted the first two? Why?
Why bail out the auto industry? It has been ravaged by poor decision from the very executives who refused to take pay cuts and give up bonuses to keep the companies afloat.
This bailout money should have been given instead to the taxpayers to help them survive this rough economic storm.
The American people are capable of making excellent decisions with their money. Washington, on the other hand, has a proven track record of waste. Is the economic stimulus-bailout nothing more than smoke and mirrors and pork-barrel spending? Just how many people will see real jobs from it?
