Parent-child volleyball tournament

HOLIDAY - Registration has begun for the Holiday Recreation Complex's 6-on-6 parent-child volleyball tournament.

Signups end April 18. The registration fee is $30 per team. For further details, call 727-942-7439

Golf tournament registration

LAND O' LAKES - Gulfside Regional Hospice will hold its annual charity golf tournament April 18 at Groves Golf and Country Club, in Land O'Lakes. The tournament is a four-man scramble format. The entry fee is $300 per team or $75 per individual. All proceeds benefit patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. Prizes include a chance at a $10,000 hole-in-one and there will also be a silent auction afterward. To register, call Jennifer Kirkland at 727-845-5707.

Football

HOLIDAY - Youth flag football evaluations will take place next Saturday, March 21, at the Holiday Recreation Complex, 2830 Gulf Trace Blvd. Players will be broken into two age groups, 9-12 and 13-16, and the cost to participate is $35. Coaching help is still being sought.
