I was appalled upon reading a letter to the editor in your Feb. 28 West Pasco edition from a woman who gave money to a woman with a "will work for food" sign, and then had the woman ask her for more money to buy Vicodin. That person should have been reported immediately for panhandling for drug money.
I have seen her in the Hudson area and pass her by every time, as I had the same experience. I hope the letter writer got her money back and reported the panhandler to the police. If I see her again I will report this. I thought I was the only one.
I will not support someone's drug habit.
