TRINITY - Thanks to a solid group effort from all 21 girls on the roster, the Seven Springs Middle School girls soccer team completed a perfect 8-0 season last week by defeating Bayonet Point, 7-0.
"We could not have had such a successful season without the effort of every member of our team," said Jaguars assistant coach Angie Napoli via e-mail. "We didn't want the season to end. I could really have continued to coach these girls for years."
Seven Springs outscored its opponents by a whopping 42-5 margin.
Casey Bruno led the Jaguars in scoring with 17 goals and one assist, followed by Shayna Filippeli's six goals and five assists and Kaitlyn Caruana's four goals and five assists.
Fourteen of the 21 players tallied at least one point this season.
The Lady Jaguars were coached by Napoli and Head Coach Lori Jaros.
