Solar bound

We can double our electric power production without building any nuclear or coal-fired power plants, which pollute the air and water, and we don't need any new oil rigs or windmills.

If you are not familiar with electric power, 50 percent of the electricity generated is lost along the transmission lines and in the transformers that bring the electricity to our houses and businesses. We solve this problem by putting pollution-free solar panels on houses and businesses. This would eliminate the 50 percent loss in power lines and easily double our electric capacity.

This could be funded if the state money for solar development went to homeowners instead of the large power companies or if the state and the companies leased or rented the solar equipment to residential customers. Up to $20,000 is already approved for each residential home in Florida. It seems almost criminal for the electric companies to take our tax dollars, seriously pollute the air and water and build these large and inefficient power plants.
