Deputies investigating possible New Port Richey carjacking

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible carjacking and crash in New Port Richey this morning.

A woman told investigators she was pulled out of her vehicle just after 4 a.m. today while she was at the Circle K at Little Road and Fox Hollow Drive.

The attacker drove off and crashed the car a short time later along Hilltop Drive, according to the sheriff's office.

The attacker and the victim may know each other, a sheriff's office dispatcher said. They're being questioned by investigators.
