What a beautiful, heartwarming story in your Jan. 14 editions regarding Magnum, the beagle with a limp.

Veterinarians like Dr. Callum Hay and Dr. Valerie Fucci are few and far between. They should be commended for the wonderful services they provided to Magnum. These veterinarians must truly love animals, and I can certainly see they are not in the profession for the money.

I'm so glad Magnum's damaged-knee and other health problems had a happy ending. May he be blessed with a long and happy life with his new family.
