Hateful Response

It's too bad everyone couldn't read the Jan. 8 op-ed piece in The Wall Street Journal by Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, titled "The Jews Face a Double Standard."
In response to the Islamic-sponsored condemnation of the Israeli people for trying to stop the random killing of its citizens by rockets Hamas has fired from the Gaza Strip for the last eight years, Hier's article asks, "Why doesn't Israel have the same right to self-defense as other nations?"
It never takes much to incite a hateful response to any action by Jews, no matter where they are. People should read Hier's op-ed article and see what they think.
