This is regarding Scott Smith's "A Bit of Wisdom" op-ed page column of Dec. 27, on Barack Obama. Smith wants us to have an "open mind" about the president-elect and "give him an opportunity to prove his fitness" for the Oval Office.
That ain't gonna happen.
After having to listen to Bush-bashing for the last eight years, it's our turn now. I hope everyone who didn't vote for Obama will be complaining for the next four years – and, hopefully, only four years.
A lot of people who did vote for Obama are going to realize what a mistake they made.
