Well here is hoping we are all ready for the ride. The stimulus bill is going to pass. There are, however, three little things that are strange, to me anyway:
1.) $200 million to save some mouse in California. I guess that is not pork.
2.) Giving the right to decide if medical tests are needed to a government oversight panel. What is that?
3.) $13 a week equals $600 this year. Mrs Obama said we could buy earrings with it during the campaign, really. No food or something substantial. What is next, "Let them eat cake?"
I only wish that openness and clarity were prevalent in the thinking in Washington, not B.S. Should this continue for the next year, we will need to send all incumbents home via the vote. Or become the United Socialist States of America.
Marching in lockstep with the party. Freedom requires eternal vigilance not a hand out saying, "What can you give me?" Remember nothing is ever for free. Someone always pays – just look in mirror to see who.
We need everyday folks in Washington, not lawyers who are too lazy to practice law.
