The Jan. 21 letter to the editor from Paul Simdars, regarding the errors of the Bush administration, was full of anger and hate and contained many errors.
George W. Bush, like all federal government officials, Republican and Democrat, received the same intelligence briefings.
The Democrats, however, wouldn't let the FBI and CIA talk to each other for years about terrorism matters.
By the way, both Congress and the UN voted to authorize the U.S. to go to war in Iraq in 2003 or Bush couldn't have done it. Even during the Clinton administration we knew Osama Bin Laden wanted to attack us, but Congress wanted to wait on the UN to take action, which never happened.
As for the Bush administration's response to Hurricane Katrina, where were the mayor of New Orleans and the governor of Louisiana? We in Florida have been hit by hurricanes for years but we never depended on the president to take care of us.
People should stop depending on hate agents for their news.
