For more than 10 years I looked forward to receiving The Suncoast News, mainly because of Charley Reese's op-ed page column. Charley told it like it is and didn't take sides politically. He favored neither Democrats nor Republicans.
Now you have Rich Lowry, who unlike Reese is an avid right-wing Republican who constantly bashes Democrats. He criticizes President Obama at every turn, even though Obama is a refreshing change from our previous president, who Lowry continually lauded regardless of his dismal approval rating. Lowry is just one more conservative columnist with a one-sided view of everything.
Are we going to be stuck with Lowry ad infinitum? Can we not look forward to different views? If not, I will request that you stop delivery of your newspaper.
