Expecting we the people to bail out the nation's financial institutions is unconstitutional and morally wrong. People need to be accountable for their own mistakes. Rewarding them is not the answer.
The institutions were at fault when they gave out 100 percent loans and sometimes 105 percent. Many people had nothing to lose by having their houses foreclosed on. This is the banks' fault, not the taxpayers.
People not wanting to be accountable for their own desires are why we have higher taxes. They vote for the man who offers them the most.
Just ask the 20 million people illegally in this country. They expect me to pay for their health care, send their children to college and whatever else they want.
I will not vote us into a socialist government.
