I was sorry to see Charley Reese give up his column. And I want to thank you for carrying it all these years. He had a lot of detractors, but he also had a lot of folks who enjoyed his columns. The current group of "haters" loved him when he was writing negative columns about the Clintons, and now they can't stand him when he writes negative columns about Bush, and the OP.

I left off the "G" as there is nothing Grand about that bunch. Just a bunch of Old Politicos. I think the Bush bunch deserves every bit of criticism that can be thrown their way.

Reese is knowledgeable about a variety of subjects and he presented his opinion in a clear and lucid manner. His opinion of this country's support of Israel was right on target, and he took a lot of heat for it.

I wish him well, and I hope that his health improves. I am about his age, so I think he is way too young to fade away. Oops, I think McCain is a little older. Maybe he should retire as well.
