Hidden Agenda

Now that the conventions are over it is time to look at the hidden agenda of the Democrat (Socialist) Party. Disregard for the moment their promises to: raise your taxes; use government for income redistribution; snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq; block free trade; continue to block offshore drilling; give battlefield terrorists in foreign lands the same constitutional rights as a Chicago pick pocket; and increase funding and power of the United Nations.

There are equally dangerous bills in Congress sponsored by Democrats that are below the radar and waiting for the election of Obama and the removal of a veto threat to move forward.

They want to: eliminate secret balloting for all union elections; eliminate photo identification to vote and expand voting to noncitizens; give drivers licenses to illegal aliens; nationalize the energy industry; and bring back the "Fairness Doctrine," which would, in effect, eliminate opposition conservative talk radio, a classic left-wing tactic.

These are all actions designed to undermine the democratic process. This is the same type of maneuvering that throughout history has brought about dictatorship and tyranny. If we allow the socialist agenda of the Democrats to become entitlements and law it will be virtually impossible to rescind them in our lifetime.

Don't vote away your rights and freedoms. We need a Republican president, vice president and Congress.
