There is very little as annoying to and adult as being hectored by a know-it-all child, such a your young columnist James Hibbs. He does not like Sarah Palin, fair enough, but to deliberately distort and donwgrade her achievements is foolish and ignorant. Of the four candidates for president and vice president, Gov. Palin is the most qualified in terms of domestic civic executive experience and in dealing with foreign governments.
Actually, she has more of such experience than the other three candidates combined. She also has courage. Mr. Hibbs may not value Palin's experience as a corruption fighter, but he should understand that people have "disappeared" in this country for doing a lot less than she did.
Mr. Hibbs thinks that expanded domestic energy producation "is no answer at all." Presumably he also believes that food is no answer to hunger and drink is no answer to thirst. The international hydrocarbon ebergy situation is the most critical issue facing the United States and the world at this time. Palin is an expert in this field, and she understands that expanding domestic production of hydrocarbon energy, particularly oil and gas, for many reasons is essential and long overdue.
Mr. Hibbs is described as a student at the Unversity of Florida. He should go to the library and look of the meaning of "misogyny." He asks, "Who's the fool," look in the mirror.
