Editor:
I have long ago given up on reading op-ed page columns by Charley Reese. This week it caught my eye that he was on medical leave and that the article, from the King Features Syndicate, was a "Best of Charley." So I thought I would scan it to see what they thought was his best. It was the worst type of one-sided anti-Semitic, anti-Israel stuff that caused me to stop reading his columns
So the problem has not only been Reese but King Features Syndicate. If its editors think this is Reese's best, then when he leaves the scene they will just replace his spot with stuff just as bad.
I would like to ask The Suncoast News to let King Features Syndicate know its readers are not interested in one-sided opinions based on half facts. I am sure there are other syndicates out there for you to get interesting opinion pieces from.
