Op-ed page columnist Rich Lowry berated John McCain for "blasting away at Barack Obama's ties to the failed subprime merchants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac." Since when is it wrong to tell the truth?
Three of Obama's top economic and financial advisors were directly responsible for the problems of these two financial institutions.
They also left with millions of dollars in their own pockets which, we, the taxpayers now have to replace.
Lowry wrote: "Obama, on the other hand, owns change." Well, let's see.
Obama picked a longtime Washington insider, another senator, as his running mate.
McCain, on the other hand, picked a totally new, fresh, female outsider for his running mate.
I do agree with Lowry on one item. He wrote, "For some voters, McCain isn't hot enough." He is absolutely right.
McCain should be ripping Obama a new one over Obama's choices of friends and associates in his campaign, in his personal and religious life, and during his tenure in the Illinois Legislature.
Obama has enough skeletons in his closet to host a Halloween party.
And, Obama certainly hasn't been bashful about pointing fingers at some of McCain's advisors.
