The letter to the editor that called the election of Barack Obama a mistake is on the money.

I'm a registered Republican, but big deal. Both sides of the fence need a good housecleaning. Furthermore, if you are a registered independent, why can't you vote in the primaries? I'd like to send a message to Washington by changing my affiliation. It is political B.S. to keep the masses repressed.

I own a small service business and can tell you that we are taxed, fee'd and regulated to death. Open your eyes. We can't take any more taxes. We could just hand over our paychecks on Friday and stand in line at a government agency to collect our welfare. I believe that is where we're headed with the far left Obama and the rest of the crooks in D.C.

You want fair taxing? It's the One Tax plan. That way, the rich, middle and low income all pay the same. They say the rich pay all the tax in this country. Bull. Most use the 60,000-page tax code to write off paying.

Who needs 60,000 pages of tax code? The politicos do, so they can keep you confused and keep their power over you.
