Our government's financial bailout is the result of high-risk behavior by distant financial giants. They have an intense hatred for socialism now, those who built their billions on corporate greed.
Can someone explain to me why we are giving $700 billion to Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, former chief executive of Goldman Sachs, who along with other Wall Streeters got us into this horrendous mess? They are the inventors of subprime mortgages and unregulated companion credit swaps. Their only thought was to avoid any government regulations.
Wall Street hypocrites, the prayer breakfast heroes, have always been true believers in power. It has never been peace on Earth. It has been always about profits in their pockets. War is great. Someone has to be killed. It produces always excessive profits for the oil and munitions industries.
