After reading the letter to the editor "Ridiculous," about people driving Cadillacs pulling boats getting free food at charitable food pantries, I realized that many times we only see a part of a situation and get the wrong idea about what is happening.
If you see me in my nice car or my husband in his nice truck at the food bank, please know we are taking food into, not out of, the food bank.
We are volunteers at the Volunteer Way Food Bank, in New Port Richey.
Our times are in much stress. The food banks need all of the support they can get.
