CSC Seeks Donations For Seniors

NEW PORT RICHEY - Community Service Council of West Pasco is kicking off its outreach program, "Mission of Appreciation for Our Elderly."

The nonprofit group is collecting sweaters, sneakers and socks for seniors in need living in local assisted living facilities, Rebecca Bennett of Pasco Kids First explained.

"We all have sweaters and sneakers we have worn maybe once," Bennett said. "We will take these as well as brand spanking new. Just be sure you would wear it and it is clean."

Donations can be dropped off through Nov. 17 at several collection sites. Among them are:

New Port Richey
