Support Our Foreign Policy

I am writing to ask all Americans to join together in this time of war and to offer support toward our nation's foreign policy and military strategy. It has become obvious that we sometimes fail to recognize the fact that our primary enemies are the radical group Islamic Jihad. It has been attacking American forces for nearly 30 years.

Let us remember the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon, killing 241 Marines. Additionally, it blew up our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, killing 257 brave Americans. In 2001 it attacked the USS Cole with a speedboat full of explosives, killing 17 sailors.

Remember that these tragic attacks took place before 9/11. Today our enemies continue to engage in a global war of terror. This "axis of evil" purposely fights for nothing less than spreading the death and suffering around the free world.

I sincerely believe that Americans deserve a leader like FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK and Reagan who challenged this sort of evil.
