TRINITY - "The Class of 2008, Making Pasco Great!"
That's the motto of Leadership Pasco members who graduated recently, according to Courtney I. McCoy, the local attorney who serves as secretary and treasurer of the class.
Graduates include class president Shawn Foster, vice president Karen Streaker and McCoy.
The other graduates include Eric Easey, Kelly Maki, Camille Hernandez, Caprena Latimore, Alan Herring, project manager Luby Sidoff, Cindy Higgins, Leslie Jones, Loran Tripp, Denise Sanderson, Frederick Buckman, Erin Gray, Maria Angelita Rodriguez, Shelia Bryan and Kari Jones.
Also, Randall Stovall, Sandra Quinlisk, Allison Broihier, William Stentz, Dr. Tim Beard, Carol Spicer, Renalia Dubose, Dr. David Johnson, Kelly Sinn, Michelle Covey and Elizabeth Borland.
Leadership Pasco alumna Barbara DeSimone, the Pasco County human resources director, took home the annual award for outstanding community service and volunteer work. She had organized the Leadership Pasco Youth Program, served on various charitable boards and acted as a union representative.
Bob Memoli, a West Pasco real estate agent who was in the class of 2005, served as master of ceremonies at the graduation.
Guests included Pasco Commissioner Pat Mulieri, Sheriff Bob White, Chief Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court Paula O'Neil and Zephyrhills Police Chief Russ Barnes.
