TRINITY - Mitchell High ace Patrick Schuster represented West Pasco high school baseball this year as the area's lone player cracking the Florida Sports Writers Association's Class 6A All-State team.
Schuster's 5-2 record, microscopic 1.07 ERA and 88 strikeouts helped earn him a spot on the honorable mention list for pitchers.
Schuster is currently in Cary, NC on invitation to play in the prestigious USA Baseball Tournament of Stars through June 23.
One hundred and fourty-four of the nations top ballplayers are compiled and split into teams to compete against one another and for a spot on the under-18 National Team that competes internationally.
