It is time for the Democrat-controlled Congress to do at least one thing to save money. If they removed the thousands of gas-guzzling mail truck from the streets for the entire weekend they would not hurt the average American one bit and would save more than a $1 million every week.
Politicians say $1 million per day is chump change for a government that spends trillions every year. A saver would say that a million or more saved every single week would amount to a notable amount over the years to come.
Businesses that need Saturday services could use an alternate delivery system for that day.
Is it possible for Congress to think of saving money? If you agree, please write to your Congress person.
