I must write to say how much I enjoyed reading Charley Reese's May 31 op-ed page column on Sen. Ted Kennedy. It has disgusted me how Mr. Kennedy has gotten by all these years; how people have looked up to him.

I have often wondered if he ever apologized to the parents of Mary Jo Kopechne and the rest of her family. I usually get upset with some of Reese's columns, but he sure was "right on" with this one.

Way to go, Charley.
