The Supreme Court decision affirming the Second Amendment as an individual rather than collective right of the people to keep and bear arms demonstrated how really fragile are our freedoms.

If you read the dissenting opinions you will see that four of the nine justices feel the Second Amendment is written to protect government rather than the people. By the grace of God and one slim vote of an appointed-for-life judge we have kept our rights.

If Barack Hussein Obama becomes president, he has already told us, he would oppose individual gun ownership.

You can count on him appointing liberal judges who will be happy to re-visit this decision and take away individual rights in order to empower government.

His socialist agenda, and that of the Democrat Party, which is in favor of nationalizing health care, the oil industry and other engines of production, makes the 2008 elections pivotal.

Consider the future of your children and grandchildren and this great country before casting a vote for a Democrat.

You may not be happy with any number of Republican candidates, but they are vastly more desirable than socialist Democrats, who are dedicated to increased government control of the Americans. Do not vote away your freedoms.
