I have been reading the comments in your paper on the creation vs. evolution debate.
There are scientists who don't know enough about the Bible, and Bible readers who don't know enough science. The truth of the matter is that the more one understands science and the Bible, then rather than diverging views they are actually converging.
For example, the Bible, in Genesis, 1:2, says in Hebrew that before creation there was "tohu and bohu." The translation generally is "without form and void" and G-d made a wind. This could easily represent the "Big Bang."
Genesis further states in Hebrew that G-d created the great "taninim gadolim," translated most correctly as "great reptiles." During the six unknown periods of time the dinosaurs could have been created and later died out, and that would not be in conflict with the Bible or science.
For a better understanding of the Bible and science and creation, I suggest a book called "Genesis and the Big Bang" by Gerald Schroeder. Schroeder used to be a scientist at MIT and the American Atomic Agency before moving to Israel and teaching the relationship of the Bible and science.
