Congress has become an overpaid, overstaffed and self-serving institution. Most of its members have become more accountable to Washington than their home districts.
It is time for the American people to renew effective supervision of their public servants, restore right standards and to take back the government. The first steps are to have both houses pass an amendment that installs term limits on their members.
The political system within Florida is highly slanted against third-party candidates. All third-party candidates with aspirations of running for office must obtain 1 percent, or roughly 5,000 signatures, from within the congressional district by March 31 to qualify for the 2008 election.

It is vital for registered voters to sign candidate's petitions and submit them to the party in question. Signing a petition does not mean you have voted for the candidate. It simply means you are granting permission to have the candidate's name and party printed on the ballot.
