In regard to James Hibbs' Dec. 22 op-ed page column "No Zealots," this misinformed young man should check out our founding president.
George Washington was a very religious man. He prayed daily. If he were to look into American history, Hibbs would find many more such examples.
We definitely need to bring Christ back into this country. Its morals are in need of his guidance. Look at TV and movies.
Our mail carriers get the day off, just like all government employees. We go to church to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Some people, like Hibbs, probably ignore the true meaning of Christmas.
