Moon Lake Burned Body Identified

MOON LAKE, Fla. A 29-year old man from the Spring Hill area, Jesse Lohr, has been identified by authorities as the person whose body was found Jan. 18 in a burned pickup truck in this rural area east of New Port Richey.
The Pasco Sheriff's Office is now investigating Lohr's death as a homicide, according to a statement issued late Monday afternoon.
Lohr's last known address was 359 Suncoast Boulevard, Spring Hill, in Hernando County.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Sheriff's Office's tool-free tip line, 1-800-706-2488.
Deputies were called Jan. 18 to the area of Lake Drive and Coronado Way in Moon Lake on Friday.
Teenagers hiking on a trail in the wooded area found a burned pickup truck and called the police. Inside the bed of the pickup was a badly burned body that could only be identified by the Pasco-Pinellas Medical Examiner's Office.
