History Rewrite

Columnists like Rich Lowry are always trying to rewrite history.
The late former Republican U.S. Rep. Henry Hyde, as Lowry asserted in a recent column, did not leave us with his honor intact. While the Clinton scandal surfaced, we also learned that Henry had a mistress earlier in his political career.
His wife looked the other way and blamed the woman for it, not Henry.
At the same time, Newt Gingrich had a mistress and was in the midst of divorce number two.
And they promoted family values?
