HUDSON, Fla. - HUDSON, Fla. - With temperatures expected to drop into the low to middle 30s tonight – and the feels-like temperature likely to be in the 20s - a homeless shelter in the Hudson area will offer hot meals.
The Holy Ground Homeless Shelter, at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Denton Avenue, in conjunction with Pasco County, will serve meals Monday and Tuesday.
If necessary, transportation can be provided by calling the Holy Ground at 727-863-9123.
In addition, a cold weather shelter will be opened at the First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey, 5901 Indiana Ave. The doors there will open at 4:30 pm.
Hot meals will be provided at the church.
