I am not an economist, but it is obvious much of our money is going to Mexico and China. The money illegal aliens are making here is not being spent here. It is going back to these workers' motherlands.

I love the Mexican people. I went to school and lived in that beautiful country and I speak Spanish. The average Mexican has more ethics, common sense and class than most Americans. I admire the hard-working illegal Mexicans.

The eggheads have come up with a fabulous idea to stop the overwhelming problem of illegal immigration: Build a new Berlin Wall across the U.S.-Mexico border. I wonder what that would cost per mile.

I have a better solution, which has to do with supply and demand. People should go to businesses employing illegal aliens and film these workers, who have no health insurance, worker compensation or Social Security and get no overtime. Fine the businesses per illegal worker and double it for the next infraction.

The downside of this approach is the poor hard-worker would lose his job. The employers not paying a living wage, however, would have to rethink their business plans.
