NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A noted sales and marketing consultant will be here later this month to offer pointers on making sales during slow economic times.
Presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Pasco Building Association, Charles Clarke III will speak during a sales seminar to take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26.
The seminar will be at Hunter's Green Golf & Country Club, 18101 Longwater Drive, Tampa, which is off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
Clarke, president of Charles Clarke Consulting, in Gainesville, Ga., and chief executive officer of Sales Success Systems of America, will discuss "Closing Skills for a Difficult Market."
"It will be a fun-packed day of fast-paced cutting-edge sales education, designed specifically for the home building industry," Nita Beckwith, CEO of the New Port Richey-based PBA, said of Clarke's presentation.
Clarke is the creator of the "Bulls, Owls, Lambs and Tigers Personality Selling and Personality Marketing" program, which is also known as BOLT.
Clarke is the author of "Real World Sales Strategies that Work" and a contributor to the anthology "Marketing Magic."
The seminar cost is $89 for SMC members and $99 for nonmembers. That fee also includes breakfast and lunch.
There will be a business card prize drawing.
