HOLIDAY, Fla. - HOLIDAY, Fla. - A local Special Olympics Pasco County athlete, Rosetta LoBianco, recently returned home from the Special Olympics Florida Athlete Congress, in Tallahassee.
Twenty-six Special Olympics athlete delegates from 17 Florida counties deliberated over four issues during the course of the three-day Congress, held in the Senate Chambers of the State Capitol, spokeswoman Amie Dugan said.
The Athlete Congress began with a private tour of the Capitol and an opening session on the floor of the State Senate.
