League registration

LAND O' LAKES - The i9 Sports league is conducting open registration for spring flag football, cheerleading, basketball and soccer. Boys and girls ages 4-14 are encouraged to sign up. The league plays throughout Pasco County.

A nationwide youth league, i9 Sports is based in Tampa. Tryouts are not held for any age group or sport, everyone is guaranteed to play and practices are at a minimum.

High school tournaments
NEW PORT RICHEY - The annual William G. Hulton Jr. Ram Classic will be held at Ridgewood High School Dec. 29-31. Joining the host Rams will be Land O' Lakes, Palm Harbor University, Zephyrhills, St. Petersburg Catholic, Wesley Chapel, Newsome and Freedom.

Ridgewood opens Monday against Palm Harbor at 7:15 p.m.
