"Merry Christmas. God bless us, everyone."
How appropriate for this season, during which Christians celebrate the birth of Christ, fostering goodwill, peace, harmony, charity, kindness and love. Most wish these would carry over throughout the year.
Why then would those who believe they are the one God pick this time to try to condemn and ridicule those trying to create a happy atmosphere? Could it be that they are trying to convert others to their position?
If you do not believe, what would it matter? Could it be that no faith is your faith? This befuddles me. I fought to protect our rights, which includes yours, too.
A little story about Man A and Man B: Both are good, law-abiding people. Man A believes Christ lived and died to save mankind from its sins. Man B has heard the story but does not believe. If, when he passes, Man A was wrong, what has he lost? Nothing. Should Man B be wrong, he's going to have some explaining to do. If Man B is right, wink, it's over.
Merry Christmas, God bless us everyone.
