OK, the election is over and now the liberal media, television and newspapers, will thrive for the next year. They will blame all of the missteps that Obama makes strictly on the Republicans, even though Democrats have had control of Congress for the past two years, which leads me to believe there is enough blame go around.

As a Reaganite Republican I have some issues with my own party. We took our eyes off the ball and never saw the steamroller that Democrats were about to drive over us. Why didn't we see what they were doing in concert with liberal activist groups like ACORN?

We need to take a look at the leaders in our party. All of us need to be accountable for our actions. I will take my lumps, but will those who have been leading us take theirs? I supported Democrat Kim Bogart because he had more to offer as sheriff than Republican Bob White.

We Republicans are where we are because of our inability to lead. I supported John McCain and that great lady from Alaska, Sarah Palin. If she runs in 2012, I will endlessly work for her. Here's to victory in 2012.
