I'm one of those ignorant Floridians Ken Sturmer wrote about in his Aug. 6 letter to the editor. When a liberal can't debate the issue with facts he has to resort to name calling.

Anyone who accepts 35 million dead babies as the result of a "mistake" is truly missing the meaning of a "gift from God."

The writer then mentioned nuclear power, which he called "excessively expensive." Nuclear power's production cost is $1.68 per kwh, the lowest of any energy production source. This information can be easily obtained from the Internet.

Nuclear waste deadly? Did I mention that abortionists have killed 35 million babies?

Sturmer wrote the state of Washington has banned all nuclear power plants. The only vote I found in Washington was Initiative 297, banning nuclear waste, which was deemed unconstitutional by the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

I don't know how to tell Sturmer this but there is a nuclear power plant at Crystal River, about 40 miles from his home. Progress Energy Florida has plans to build another not too far away.

Welcome to Florida, Mr. S. We're pro-life and pro-nuclear – and now pro-drilling. Please go back to your left coast.
