The sun will come out tomorrow: after another drenching Sunday, a rainbow appeared above the Hudson area near U.S. 19 and New York Avenue. Weather patterns are finally settling back into a routine now that Tropical Storm Fay has moved out of the state.

NEW PORT RICHEY - West Pasco received about 4.18 inches of rain during the past week, when Tropical Storm Fay was influencing the weather.
Most of the rain fell since Friday when Fay was making a second pass through the Florida Panhandle, according to the figures from Richard A. Ziegler, a project supervisor for Pasco County Public Works.
That brings the August precipitation total to 7.01 inches so far, as recorded at the rain gauge at the West Pasco Government Center. The central part of the county near San Antonio got about an inch more of rain.
