Deputies Probing Port Richey Robbery

PORT RICHEY, Fla. - PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Pasco deputies are investigating a bank robbery and apparent shooting here, according to a Sheriff's Office bulletin released about 10 minutes ago.
Preliminary information indicates that a male suspect robbed the Colonial Bank, 9431 U.S. 19, Port Richey.
The reporting the holdup call came in at 3:10 p.m., according to Kevin Doll, the public information director for the Sheriff's Office.
"We also received a call about a male shooting himself in the head in the Dillard's parking lot at Gulf View Square Mall," at 9409 U.S. 19, Port Richey, Doll wrote in the bulletin.
"It is possible the victim in that shooting is the suspect in the bank robbery," Doll Said.
